Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival

The Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival is a weekend event held at Jefferson County Fair Park, with more than 100 vendors in a country store format. The programming covers both sides of the fiber world: sheep shows, shearing demonstrations, stock dog trials, and a Hall of Breeds display run alongside fiber arts classes, fleece shows, skein competitions, and design challenges. The sheep to shawl event lets you watch teams work from raw fleece to finished fabric in real time. A Make It With Wool garment competition, producer education sessions, and youth programming fill out the schedule. A Walk & Knit/Crochet Challenge Relay adds a playful competitive element to the weekend.
