Lake Area Fiber Artists

The Lake Area Fiber Arts Festival takes place at Community Christian Church in Camdenton, Missouri, near the Lake of the Ozarks. Twenty years of running makes this one of the more established festivals in the region. Workshops run in separate rooms throughout Friday afternoon and all day Saturday, with a vendor market and guild member consignment sales alongside them. Workshop registration happens by mail in advance, since instructors need time to prepare materials for each participant. On-site food service means you can stay put for the day. It's a small-scale, community-rooted festival that's clearly been doing something right for two decades.
