Kings County Fiber Festival

The Kings County Fiber Festival is a single-day marketplace in Brooklyn bringing together independent fiber artists from the tri-state area. The emphasis is on handmade work and the people behind it: vendors sell yarns, clothing, and accessories they've created themselves, and demonstrations cover techniques like spinning and dyeing throughout the day. An art exhibit runs alongside the vendor hall, which lifts the event beyond pure marketplace into something with a gallery sensibility.
