Frederick Fiber Fest (Spring)

Frederick Fiber Fest gathers more than 65 vendors at the Frederick Fairgrounds in Frederick, Maryland for a single day. The vendor roster reads like a regional fiber census: Mid-Atlantic sheep farms selling raw fleece, Maryland dye studios with hand-painted skeins, small-batch mills processing heritage breed wool. Breed-specific products show up throughout, with Gotland fleece, Dutch heritage breed wool, and Pennsylvania-raised fleeces alongside prepared yarns and tools. With 65-plus vendors in one location across a seven-hour window, there's enough variety to spend the full day browsing without seeing the same thing twice.
