Fiber Fusion Northwest

Fiber Fusion Northwest is a two-day festival at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, Washington, organized by the North Sound Alpaca Association and run entirely on volunteers and sponsors. The event spreads across multiple buildings, with live fiber animals, fleece shows, and fiber arts exhibitions alongside a vendor marketplace selling raw fleece, yarn, and finished goods. Classes extend to three days, starting before the main festival opens. A consignment marketplace for used equipment is a practical touch for anyone looking to pick up a spinning wheel or loom without paying full price. The whole event traces the path from animal to finished product, and with the animals right there on the grounds, that connection is literal rather than abstract.
