ME
Fiber Frolic Festival
The Maine Fiber Frolic is a two-day festival at Windsor Fairgrounds, produced by volunteers with a specific mission: connecting fiber artists with Maine's small family farms. That farm focus shows up throughout. A dedicated fleece barn gives you direct access to raw fiber, an angora rabbit school lets you learn about the animals behind the fiber, and workshops cover farm-to-fiber processes. Vendors, contests, used equipment sales, and exhibitor displays fill out the rest of the weekend. The whole event feels oriented toward closing the gap between the people raising the animals and the people working with the yarn.
