Fiber Christmas in July
Fiber Christmas in July is a two-day festival at the Creek County Fairgrounds in Kellyville, Oklahoma, sitting right on Historic Route 66 between Sapulpa and Kellyville. Vendors come from eight states (Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Missouri), which means the selection runs wider than what you'd find at a single-state event: commercial yarns, raw fleeces, handspun yarn, and fiber tools all sharing table space. Classes cover beginner through advanced levels across knitting, spinning, felting, and weaving. The Route 66 fairground setting and the eight-state vendor draw give this one a road-trip quality that fits the name.
