Coggeshall Farm Sheep & Wool Festival
The Sheep & Wool Festival at Coggeshall Farm Museum is a single-day event at a working farm museum in Rhode Island. What makes this one stand out is how completely it walks you through the fiber production cycle in one place: you can watch sheep shearing demonstrations, then see the wool processed, dyed, spun, and woven. The museum's own sheep flock is on site between demonstrations, so the starting point of the whole process is right there for you to visit. Vendors and artisans from across New England sell fiber, yarn, tools, and finished goods alongside the programming. The working farm setting gives the whole day a coherence that festival halls can't quite replicate.
