Autumn Fiber Festival

The Autumn Fiber Festival is a two-day event at the Richland County Fairgrounds in Mansfield, Ohio, and it's entirely volunteer-run. Vendors sell across the full fiber spectrum, from raw fleece and roving to hand-spun and mill-spun yarn, hand-dyed yarn, and finished items, along with supplies for spinning, weaving, knitting, crochet, rug hooking, and felting. Demonstrations run throughout the weekend, so you can watch spinners, weavers, felters, and rug braiders at work. Fiber animals are on display too, which gives the whole thing a bit of a county fair feel on top of the marketplace. Admission and parking are free, and proceeds go to the Richland County Jr. Fair Alpacas 4-H Club and the Matthew 25 Outreach Center food pantry. It's one of those events where your yarn shopping is also quietly doing some good for the community.
