Adirondack Wool & Arts Festival
The Adirondack Wool & Arts Festival is a two-day festival held at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Greenwich, New York, tucked into farming country north of Saratoga Springs. You'll find handspun yarns and crafting supplies alongside the raw materials they started as: unprocessed fleece, roving, and wool from regional flocks. Sheep shearing demonstrations and a judged sheep and goat show run throughout the weekend, so you're shopping with the source of the fiber quite literally in the next building over. Workshops cover a range of fiber arts techniques, and a used equipment silent auction and fleece sale round things out. It's part marketplace, part agricultural fair, and a good excuse to spend a weekend surrounded by yarn and the animals that made it.
